Wren let go of the embrace and fingered the torn wrapping paper. "This is so pretty. You got this from the Present Palace?" she asked Kala. She held it up for Twill to see.

OOC; I'll do it later ^^ I'll tell ya when it's done...though it'd be great if you can do it on yourown since I tend to disappear at these hectic times

[Rabbit]

OOC: Maybe will do it, but you know me. Lazy.....xD

BIC: Kala blushed slightly but still nodded. "Of course. It was the least I could do for you being my friend for such a long time," She replied.(Let's BOMB each other!)

IC; As soon as Kala finished talking, a mochi splat at her face. Wren grinned. "Food fight?"

[Rabbit]

OOC: By BOMB I meant sending free wishlist items but that could work too xD

OOC; Oh. xD You don't have to join in, though.

Wren stared expectantly at the rabbit for some sort of response. "Hello?" she waved a wing in front of her friend, "Kala? Kala?"

[Rabbit]

Kala blinked and blushed as she was found amusing by a few dogs sitting next to them. "Uh...yes, Wren," She stammered.

[FiSHY]

The bird blinked, obviously a little confuzzled. "Are you okay there?" she asked with a concerned face. Kala may have been just a little distracted, but Wren didn't want to take too many chances.

[Rabbit]

Kala laughed quietly and replied, "Yes, completely fine. Just in sort of a daze. After all, we should have something exciting happen right now." She smiled.

[FiSHY]

Wren blinked. Now it was her turn to be in a daze. "What?" she peeped.

[Rabbit]

Kala bit her lip and murmured, "Uh..never mind."

[FiSHY]

Wren blinked, apparently still confuzzled on what to say. She stared off to a fluttering butterfly in the awkward silence. "Have you ever wandered why this shelter is called the Sparrow Shelter?" she asked.

[Rabbit]

Kala said, "Things that simple are left undecided." She stared up at the shelter and said, "Probably just a name you're used to so you don't care. Like...I never wondered why my name was Kala. And I don't care. I think this place is called the Sparrow Shelter because a sparrow nest was here before...that's what I heard."

[FiSHY]

Wren nodded slowly. "Yes, I suppose so. But I haven't lived here long enough to know the tales known by the true locals yet," she peeped, glancing around at the forests that surround her.

OOC; That just gives me an idea: we should chronologize a fictional account of Soaren's history and compile a collection of local traditions and folklore of each major location.

[Rabbit]

OOC: OMG YES xD

OOC; OK, but let's finish our current projects first ^^ We need to make a checklist... And back to the RP. What's Kala's reaction?

Kala just stared intently, trying not to laugh at how amusing Wren's comment was. She murmured, "Well...do you know if they have a historical place to teach us about Little Town?"

[FiSHY]

Wren thought for a moment and then replied, "Maybe. They might be building one."

[Rabbit]

Kala widened her eyes. "I want to see if they are," She said cheerfully, lifting her paw and sniffing the air quietly.

[FiSHY]

Wren nodded eagerly. "Definitely. Do you want to stop by the park again on our way?"

BIC: Kala nodded, smiling. "Sure! Now...where are we going again?" She asked foolishly.

[FiSHY]

Wren was about to answer when another idea came up in her head, so she said, "Well, I was thinking about stopping by the park again, but now I want to travel. It'll be so fun to travel with you!" Her eyes were eager and her feathers fluffed as she spoke.

[Rabbit]

Kala smiled. "Sure. Where do you want to go right now though, Wren?" She asked curiously.
